fish nursery rhyme miniature
Little Fish crochet pattern.
The scales are worked in short flat rows using the shell edge stitch technique (explained in the pattern) and then are sewn together to create the 3D shape.
any yarn and size can be created but I have used James C Brett Cotton on DK wool and a 2.25mm crochet hook, the finished fish measures roughly 15cm long.
Great little pattern on its own but can also be used as part of the nursery rhyme miniatures created for a story sack – pull a character from the bag and sing that nursery rhyme.
