This toque features a generous ribbed band to cover the ears, then switches to the stranded colourwork fish scale pattern, and finishes with decreasing wedges. The colourwork involves only two yarns so is quite easy to work and yet makes the toque extra warm.

The sizes are based on actual head circumference measurements. The toque does knit up with a slight amount of negative ease. This ensures a slightly snug fit. If your head measurement is in between sizes please choose the larger size.

You will need two colours of yarn but will likely get more than one toque from each colour.
