This is the pattern for a fish scrubby. I do have this pattern available for free on my website if you would prefer that option. The link is down below, but I’ve made it available for people to download as well for $1 on Ravelry.
There is also a video tutorial for the pattern available on my YouTube channel at Crochet Fish Scrubbie Tutorial.
I’ve used 4 ply cotton and a 1.25mm crochet hook but you can use different sizes depending on what you’re most comfortable with.
-
Blue, black, yellow and a very small amount of white 4 ply crochet cotton. (Cotton would be better than synthetic)
-
A crochet hook, I used a 1.25mm hook.
-
Scissors.
-
A darning needle to weave in ends.
-
Sewing thread and a needle to stitch the body fin and eye onto the fish.
-
2 x 6g scouring pads (about 2” or 5cm across).
