Welcome to the pattern for our Fisher Fish Scales Cat Bandana. The finished bandana has a striking, layered, multicoloured ‘fish scale’ pattern. It has a simple tie up design behind your cat’s neck making it suitable for cat’s who dislike things being placed over their head.

CROCHET LEVEL: All levels and suitable for experienced beginners with fundamental knowledge of basic crochet stitches and techniques.

MATERIALS:

• Yarn of your choice (I used 3 weight cotton/acrylic blend in 3 colours)
• Crochet hook to suit your yarn (I used 4mm)
• Yarn needle
• Scissors
• Measuring tape (optional)

STITCHES/TECHNIQUES:

• Making a magic ring
• Chain stitch and making a chain
• Slip stitch
• Single crochet
• Double crochet
• Changing colour
• Tying off using your preferred method
• Weaving in and securing tail ends
• Basic sizing using your cat’s neck circuference or the included guide to standard cat sizes
