Designed to honor the fisher folk of Scotland who traveled to America in search of a better life. This kerchief cowl is made in straight two color Tunisian crochet. The color work is achieved through changing which stitches are worked to show a given color to the front or the back of the work. There is no intarsia or float carrying and with this technique, there are very few ends to work in when you are finished. Made with three 50g skeins of Mirasol Nuna, this cowl is very soft and has lots of drape. For each cowl, slightly less than half of each skein is used.

Of sails, and waves, of nets, and ropes,
Across the sea they placed their hopes,
And hence they came, the Fisherfolk.
