Fishermans Beach (Fingering)
As a child, we lived 3 doors away from Fishermans Beach; many hot Summer days were spent exploring and frolicking in the water. Now as an adult, I often return to the beach to allow my children to enjoy the same carefree times I cherished.
Fishermans Beach still retains its historic beachfront bathing boxes, and is a must-visit on the Mornington Peninsula, approximately 55 minutes from Melbourne, Australia.
Fishermans Beach is a slouch beanie knit in the round.
The pattern is written for Fingering weight yarn, and 5 sizes.
The pattern starts at the brim, and works up to the crown with a cable column reminiscent of water, and textured birds scattered around the body.
You will need to know how to work small circumferences in the round and be able to work basic cable stitches. If you do not know how to do this you may need to reference a knitting book or online tutorial.
