What to do with a small ball of expensive yarn? I wanted a thin scarf that was a little bit dressy, a little bit different. And I wanted to use every single inch of luscious cashmere, without running out before I finished the pattern.
My solution was to weigh the yarn as I worked (a food scale can be used for this), using a set amount for each of the three sections. I’ve noted both the worked length and the yarn weight used for each section in the pattern. This pattern also makes a great feather and fan scarf; it’s narrower than this one.
