Fishtail Baby Blanket
We live by the seashore, and I love to make baby gifts that reflect our local landscape. I created this Fishtails Baby Blanket to provide an easy-to-memorize pattern that creates a special gift for both boys and girls.
*This pattern is not gauge-specific. Feel free to adjust needle size according to your choice of yarn.*
I recommend Wool Pop by Universal Yarns because it is both gorgeous AND machine washable to provide a low-stress heirloom for new parents and babies. This pattern and size uses just about 2.5 skeins, leaving plenty extra for matching hats! Using DK weight, this should result in a 30” x 30” stroller blanket.
Materials:
2.5 skeins Wool Pop by Universal Yarns
(or approx 750 yards of any DK yarn)
4mm/US 6 circular needles, 36 inches
2 stitch markers
Yarn needle for finishing
