Love fishing? Or fishes?
I´m not sure the mittens are perfect for fishing, but they are perfect for cold weather if you knit them in wool.
The mittens are knit in the round using double point needles. You can also alter the size of the mitten by using bigger or smaller needles, or adding a few rounds at the top of the mittens.
Finished meassures of the mitten is: 18 cm width, 14,5 cm to the thumb and 14 cm from the thumb to the top. The thumb is 6,5 cm.
You will need:
2,0 mm double point needles
2 stitch markers (to keep track of the thumb gusset)
Tapetsry needle to weave in the ends
White yarn 50 g (Main colour=MC)
Grey yarn 50 g (Contrast colour =CC)
I used two ply wool yarn measuring 300 m/100 grams (sport)
Gauge: 32 stitches and 32 rows =10 x 10 cm
Happy knitting and good luck if you go fishing!
