Thank you so much for checking out my fishy plushie pouches! This intermediate level pattern includes several options! You can make a koi, tropical fish or shark, and you can make them as bags or regular plushies. This pattern include instructions for attaching a pre-made 5x7 in. drawstring pouch. Please note, you can use other yarn weights than the suggested blanket yarn, but this will affect your sizing. The pattern includes instructions for a drawstring if you decide to sew your own liner.

This pattern is written in US terms and is worked mostly in the round. The pattern will indicate where we switch to working in rows. The strap for the pouch is “made to fit.”

Check out my testers’ creations on the final page of the pattern for some ideas! I hope you have fun creating your plushie pouches!
