Fitjar is the perfect project, if you want to learn how to knit! Fitjar is knit in stocking stitch with rib details in beautiful colors. Stocking stitch and rib are both combinations of knit and purl stitches. Stocking stitch has a flat structure, it is smooth on the right side, and with small ridges on the wrong side. On the contrary, rib has vertical ridges on both sides that makes it more elastic. Fitjar is knit top-down on a circular needle so you only need to mount it under each sleeve when you are finished knitting. Highland is 100% wool yarn from the highland sheep in Peru. The yarn has a great feel to it and is easy to knit with.
