Fitted Turtleneck Sweater
by Woman's Day
Note on source: Not all copies of the October 1965 issue will have this pattern. The set of doll sweater patterns is found in an advertising section toward the back of the magazine where the page numbers have the letter “B” after them. The content of the “B pages” varies (presumably by region?). Some copies of the magazine have the doll sweater patterns and some do not.
Yarn: The pattern calls for “Small amounts of 3-ply fingering yarn.”
Additional materials: 3 snap fasteners
The body of the sweater is made in one piece; the sleeves are separate. There is a crocheted edging around the bottom, and it closes in the back with snaps.
Sized for 10.5-inch to 12-inch fashion dolls with the 1960s body types.
