Five shades of kiwi
This is a simple crescent shawl designed to show off the beautiful cotton/possum blend of Zealana Kiwi Lace yarn. The pattern uses a simple slipped stitch technique and alternating colours to create the pattern. It’s important to remember to bring your yarn to the front before slipping stitches as this creates the texture. The mixed colour sections are created by doing two rows of each colour with the slipped stitches bringing the yarn between rows.
The pattern is a simple set of rows repeated and is quick to work up. This pattern is designed as a simple kick-off. You may like to make the colour stripes wider or add a lace section to the last band of colour. Note if you want more of the third colour you will need two balls of that colour.
Looking forward to seeing what you do with the pattern!
