A pair of bulky fingerless mitts designed especially for bulky handspun. I often get carried away and spin a little unevenly and thick without meaning to, which leaves me with less yardage than I hoped. But that does not mean the handspun isn’t lovely, it just changes my plans – in the words of the trolls from Frozen – “it’s a bit of a fixer upper!”

Worked from the cuff up, it features lateral braids and a simple thumbhole. It’s a close fitting glove with a little shaping at the wrist. I have added embellishments, which you can choose to add or to leave plain.
