Fjelltur Lite
FJELLTUR LITE is the lighter, more minimalist version of the FJELLTUR SWEATER (from Norwegian: ‘mountain tour’). The sweater is knitted from the bottom up in the round, the sleeves are knitted separately and then joined with the body on a long circular needle. The sweater is then shaped with German short rows, and the yoke is knit using stranded-colourwork, working decreases at the same time. The mock neck is worked in simple 1x1 ribbing and finished with a sewn bind-off for a neat edge. FJELLTUR was inspired by the scenery on my favourite mountain tours - the colourwork detail features stylised mountain peaks and spruce trees.
Please choose a size 5-15 cm larger than your
actual chest circumference. For reference: the sample in the photos is in size 2 with 7 cm positive ease.
