This pattern is designed in collaboration with KOKON YARN.

The KOKON INDIGO YARN with merino wool has a gorgeous soft drape. Speckle and tie dye yarn colors reminded me of winter fjord landscape in Arctic Norway with snow-covered mountains and deep blue water. Thank you very much dear Michelle for inspiring this pullover with your beautiful yarn!

My idea of this pullover is “tuck in”. Therefore the pullover has only some positive ease (not extra oversized) and light and soft texture at loose gauge, which gives beautiful drape to garment.

When you wear knitted garment with heavier yarn at a loose gauge, it will be stretched under its own weight, especially at the shoulder and neckline. I have decided to use this effect as a design element. It was not quite predictable, but after many tries, I have found the perfect fit.

I made mohair flower, which can be put on the pullover. The flower is also included in pattern.

The pattern is worked seamlessly from the top down. It is a very quick project with big size needles.

You can also see very beautiful and original modification ideas in my test knitters projects with spangle, beads, button, fancy yarn, long sleeves, etc.

Yarn: KOKON Indigo Yarn Aran Weight. Speckled as MC & Tie Dye as CC. Mohair or Brushed Alpaca lace weight yarn for flowers.

Sizes: XS–S (S–M, M–L, L–XL)(XL, 2XL, 3XL). To fit an actual bust circumference of: 81 (87, 94, 100)(107, 115, 122) cm / 32 (34, 37, 39) (42, 45, 48)”

Yardage for MC: 508 (533, 572, 625)(668, 723, 772) m / 556 (583, 625, 684) (731, 793, 844) yards

Yardage for Flower: 36 m / 40 yards for each Flower. Model has 2 Flowers.

Needles: 8.0 mm - US 11 needle as main needle, 7.0 mm for Hem and 9 mm / US 13 for Flower. Adjust needle size if necessary to get gauge.

Gauge: 12.5 sts x 18 rows = 10 cm 4“, with main needle in stockinette stitch after wet blocking.

KOKON INDIGO YARN は柔らかいメリノウールの糸で、編み地に美しいドレープが出来ます。スパッタリングの点々で染めた色と、絞り染めのインディゴカラーの糸は、ノルウェーの北極圏で見た、冬のフィヨルドの、雪の山々や、濃紺の海を思い出させてくれました。私にインスピレーションを与えてくれたミシェルさんの美しい糸から、パターンの名前をフィヨルドにしました。

このセーターは、裾をズボンやスカートの中に入れて着られるようにデザインしました。身頃をやや細目に、編み地は、軽くて柔らかく、きれいなドレープが出るように、大きなゲージで編んでいます。

太い糸と大きなゲージの組み合わせで編んだセーターは、重みでネックラインや肩の編み目が伸びます。編み目が伸びることを前提に、それがデザインの一部になるように、何度も編み直して、この形が出来上がりました。

このパターンは上から下に向かって（トップダウンで）編んでいきます。綴じはぎのないシームレス構造をしています。

太い針を使って、ざくざくと編むので、あっという間に完成します。

華やかなセーターになるように、肩の近くにモヘアのお花を縫い付けました。お花の編み方（棒針で編みます）もパターンに載せています。太い糸でぷっくりしたお花になるように編んだものを、コートやカバンに付けるのもかわいいかと思いますので、よかったらセーターと一緒に編んでみて下さい。

テストニッターの皆さんのプロジェクト、モヘアやツイード、２色の引き揃えなどの糸のアイデア、長袖バージョン、ビーズやスパンコール、ファンシーヤーンなどを使ったかわいいアレンジは、どれも本当に素敵で、これから編まれる方にインスピレーションを与えてくれるかと思います。

毛糸：KOKON Indigo Yarn Aran Weight。 藍色に染められた、メリノウールの極太糸です。メインカラーに Speckled （スパッタリング染め） 、袖口にTie Dye（絞り染め）を使用しています。起毛アルパカやモヘアを使って、ふわっと軽いセーターに仕上げるのもかわいいかと思います。お花はモヘアのレース糸で編みました。
