The gray FJORD fair isle hat knitting pattern comes as a PDF with written instructions, charts and photos which you can download immediately after the payment. It prints onto A4 or US Letter paper. You will need a soft such as Adobe Reader to access it (see adobe.com).
This is intermediate level knitting pattern; the following skills are required: Cast on, Knit, Purl, Circular Knitting, Color Knitting, Bind off. All measurements are given in US and metric. Hat is knitted in one piece. Furthermore full pattern support is available by message or email.

SIZE: 21”–23” / 54–59 cm circumference

YARN: Any DK weight yarn. I used DROPS Alpaca yarn (5 ply sport) in 2 treads:
55 yds / 30 g white color 101 — A,
36 yds / 20 g light grey color 501 — B,
36 yds / 20 g medium grey color 517 — C,
36 yds / 20 g dark grey color 506 — D.

GAUGE: 4” × 4” / 10 cm × 10 cm = 20 sts × 23 rows in stockinette stitch.

NEEDLES: Circular or double pointed needles US 4–6 / 3.5–4 mm.
