This is a fun and easy to knit scarf project.
The pattern stitch looks like little cables or spirals, but only uses easy knits (through back loop) and purls.
It is easy to memorize and almost meditative thanks to the steady repeats.
The pattern is in English and provides written row-by-row instructions. (no chart)
