Flair Free Cardi
I made a Teaser Trailer for this pattern, where I talk about construction, techniques, yarn choice, sizing, and modifications. I strongly suggest you take a look especially to understand the two fits. Check it out!
The Flair Free Cardi is a wardrobe staple - a V-neck, raglan cardigan without any extra frills or “flair”. Consider it your starting point to experiment with colors or modifications, or just make it as-written for a versatile garment that will look great in any fingering weight yarn. Options for modifications are included in the pattern.
In addition to a truly RIDICULOUS number of sizes, this garment has TWO different fits - a Traditional version, and a Curvy version. The Traditional version has the same dimensions in the front as the back, similar to the vast majority of garments that you can make or buy. The Curvy version has a front measurement that is 4” larger than the back measurement, perfect for those who would like a fitted garment but need a little extra room in the bust. This version also has optional hourglass waist shaping. I walk through details of the different garments in the Teaser Trailer linked above, I recommend you check it out! Suggestions are also included in the pattern to pick your fit.
