This exquisitely shaped flamingo hood has all the bells, whistles, and feathers! From the detailed head, to delicate curved neck, finished off with fluffy feathers and dangly feet; this hood checks all the boxes!

Rated INTERMEDIATE, you should know how to work in rounds and use stitch markers to verify counts before moving on. The pattern is fully tested and includes photos and specific measurements on sewing placements to be sure you enjoy making it and achieve quality results!

The hood is made double strand worsted with an H hook and the smallest details are single strand worsted with a C hook. You will need about 625 yards total of STIFF worsted yarn, such as Red Heart Super Saver, Caron One Pound, Hobby Lobby I Love this Yarn or Crafter’s Secret. Basically anything stiff and true worsted to hold the structure.
