Was sind eigentlich Flamingos für hübsche Tiere? Ihre Farbe haben sie übrigens aufgrund ihrer Nahrung. Und deren laaaaange dünne Beinchen haben mich dazu inspiriert diese Anleitung für euch aufzuschreiben. Sie passen farblich einfach so wunderbar in jede Sockenbox und müssen daher unbedingt gestrickt werden :smile:

Fair Isle ist eine Technik, die viel Übung benötigt um das gewünschte passende Ergebnis zu liefern. Es sollte auf eine ausreichende Fadenspannung geachtet werden, da es sonst passieren kann, dass sie Socken am Ende nicht über die Ferse gehen.

Gestrickt wird vom Bündchen zur Spitze. Die Ferse wird mit einer klassischen Käppchenferse geformt. Der Fuß oben weiter im Muster gestrickt und die Sohle in abwechselnden Farben.

Lang Yarns Jawoll 50gr/ 210m in der Farbe navy 083.0235
Oder natürlich auch jedes andere Sockengarn mit einer Lauflänge von 400 bis 425m auf 100 gr.

Okay, let’s talk about flamingos. These wonderful pink creatures have their color because of their food. With their extra loooong legs they inspired me to write this pattern and I’m so excited to show you the pattern here :)
You can mix up so many colors to create a gorgeous pair of socks for your sock box!

This pair of socks is no problem for experienced knitters, but in this pattern it’s all about tension.
If you’re familiar with stranded color work this pair should be knitted up in a few days, but if not you should practise a bit before starting to knit. You don’t want your sock not to fit over your heel.

The socks are knitted top down. The heel calles for a classic heel flap and gusset. The top of the foot is worked in chart and the sole in alternating colors.
