Flamsie the fox
With this clear written pattern, you can make a super cute and realistic fox. If you feel like it you can even make a fox family! This .pdf crochet pattern is written in standard American crochet terms.
Size
If you use the recommended yarn, your fox will be 5.5 inch / 14 cm sitting
Materials
For this crochet fox you’ll need worsted weight yarn (Lètt Lopi) and an E US/3.5 mm crochet hook. You’ll need three colours: apricot orange 1704 (1/3 of a 100-yard skein), white 0051 (1/8) and some chocolate heather brown 0867. For the nose I’ve used the darkest brown called black sheep heather 0052. For the eyes I’ve used 8 mm animal eyes. You will also need fibrefill and pellets for extra weight in the body (I use Hama beads). A pipe-cleaner to make the tail bendable is optional.
The crochet pattern contains
An intro with useful info. List of materials, tools and accessories needed. Brand and colour numbers of the needed yarn. A clear and colour coded description of how to crochet and assemble the animal. Pictures and illustrations to help getting everything right. All my patterns are text edited for correct English and have been tested by an experienced crocheter before publishing.
Yarn
Istex Lett lopi. I strongly recommend using a fuzzy yarn because it gives the best result.
Gauge is unimportant for this pattern. If the pieces are crocheted tightly enough, they will not gape visibly when stuffed. You can make a little test swap to be sure.
