Notes:
This is an intermediate skill level pattern. You must know how to and be comfortable with changing yarn colors. This head wrap is worked in rows and then sewn together to create your finished project.
Materials:
You will need 125 yards of #4 worsted weight yarn, 5.00 mm crochet hook, scissors, and a tapestry needle.
Let’s talk yarn!
You will need #4 worsted weight yarn for this project. I used Big Twist Value from Joann’s. You will need 4 colors of yarn for this project. One color of yarn for the solid color block portion of this project. I chose gray. Then you will need 3 colors to create the flannel side of the project. I went with black, red, and wine! Feel free to use any color combination or brand of yarn you would like as long as it is #4 worsted weight yarn!
Gauge:
6 hdc sts by 5 rows = 2 inches when using 5.00 mm crochet hook and #4 worsted weight yarn. However, don’t stress yourself out too much! Gauge is not very important for this pattern!
Abbreviations:
-Ch: chain
-Hdc: half double crochet
