Flapjack the Pancake Batfish
The Pancake Batfish (Halieutichthys intermedius) was one of the top 10 new animals discovered in 2010. It can be found only in the Gulf of Mexico. Much of the information regarding this unusual animal has come from Dr. Prosanta Chakrabarty, curator of fishes at Louisiana State University Museum of Natural Science. I created “Flapjack” from a reference photo at:

Flapjack measures 7.5” from lips to tail tip. He is the third in the Things Yellow Series. Hide the syrup! Here comes Flapjack!
As with all crochet patterns, a knowledge of basic stitches and the ability to increase and decrease is required. All Angelsun patterns use US abbreviations as set forth by Yarn Standards for publication. Please note that this varies from those used in the UK and possibly elsewhere.
No warranty is implied and no liability is assumed. Results may vary according to tension and skill level. The pattern may not be resold or distributed in ANY form and remains the sole property and copyright 2012 Kelly Lynn Smith DBA Angelsun. As with all of my patterns, customers are WELCOMED to sell finished items~in this case~Batfish.
Due to small parts, Flapjack is intended for Adult collectors.
ALL patterns are available directly from the designer. Please email me through my website. Thanks :)
