Measuring approx 3 inches these simple little birds are all the rage right now. They work up quick with scrap amounts of worsted weight yarn (I like the look of cotton yarn with these). I use the smallest hook I can to minimize holes but I also crochet big so you may need to use a bigger hook depending on your preference.
