The legwarmer is worn from below the knee to the ankle, with the purl ridges at the ankle.

Directions are for a fitted leg warmer, with changes to make a “slouchy”, looser fitting warmer. You can also adjust the length if you want a longer warmer to cover the top of your shoes or boots.
