The egg is knit flat, and felted. A nice simple pattern, the only techniques are knit, knit front and back, knit 2 together, slip slip knit!

A great pattern to use up scrap felting yarn. (I used Fishermen’s Wool from Lion Brand, but any yarn that will felt will work.)
