This pattern has instructions to knit an adult sized pair of mittens (one size) using approx. 60g chunky/bulky yarn.
The mittens are worked in rib and stocking stitch and are knitted flat on two needles. They are seamed on the thumb and the side. Both mittens are knitted the same.
The easy-to-follow instructions include photographs and are suitable for beginners as they require a basic knowledge of knitting. An explanation of abbreviations is included. The pattern also includes a 2 page, row-by-row guide with tick boxes which can be printed to help you to keep track of your work.
Mittens can be made bigger or smaller by using different sized knitting needles but this is only a suggestion and has not been tested.
