These toe-up socks are basic vanilla socks! The mindless knitting you were looking for, because the fun is in the yarn (and in the unusual, swirly, bind off)!

The colours of this sock are inspired by the cover of “Flavours” a wonderful cookbook by Yotam Ottolenghi with vegetarian recipes that will change the way you look at an aubergine!

YARN
Approx 120 g , 500 m / 547 yds of any sock-weight yarn
Sample is knit with: Foot Lane by Penny Lane Yarns, 75% merino / 25% polyamide, 100 g / 425m - 465yd
Main colour: Flavours. Contrasting Colour: Very Pink!

GAUGE
32 sts and 54 rows over 10cm / 4” in stockinette stitch in the round, wet-blocked.
Gauge is crucial for this project, and it will determine yarn usage and final measurements

SIZES AND MEAUSUREMENTS
19 (21,5, 24) cm / 7.5 (8.5, 9.5)” foot circumference. Intended to be worn with 1,5 cm / 0,6” negative ease. Corresponding sizes: S (M, L).
Adjustable foot and leg length.
