always, the pattern gives you maximum knitting freedom.
You decide what yarn you want to use and then you knit with
your gauge in your size.

I would recommend using a light yarn (fingering or heavy
lace) for Fledermaus, and to use a needle that is slightly
bigger than the yarn calls for to achieve an airy and
flattering drape.
