Life is Fleeting and, sometimes, so are the things we enjoy. The combination of chocolate and mint is one of my favourite- possibly only trumped by dark chocolate and orange.

We take it for granted that we will always be able to enjoy these simple things in life, so it is only when they are taken from us that we truly appreciate them.

Watching someone who lost part of his sense of taste this year has reminded me how Fleeting these simple things can be, so let this remind us not to take things for granted.

Fleeting uses a slipped stitch pattern to blend the colours, so be careful to keep your stranding loose and consider going up a size if you can’t keep the stranding loose enough, or you are between sizes.
