Perfect for when you want a mixture of challenging and relaxing rounds, these cuff down socks use twisted stitches to create a classic chain design across the length and breadth of the sock. They also feature an eye of partridge heel flap and gusset for additional interest….you’ll be surprised at how quick these are to knit!

Instructions include both written and charted directions as well as links to video demonstrations meaning you can opt to knit with or without a cable needle.

Sizes:
Small (Medium, Large)

Yarn: one skein 4ply/fingering weight yarn. Sample uses 65g, size small.

Needles: US 1.5/2.5mm double pointed needles or 32” circular needles, or size required to obtain gauge

Notions: Stitch markers, yarn needle, cable needle (optional)

Gauge: 32 stitches x 46 rounds = 4”/10cm stockinette

Skills required:
Knitting, purling, twisted stitches and/or using a cable needle (depending on preference), slipped stitches, picking up stitches, decreases, grafting.
