An elegant piece we all need for Spring or Summer that will make you feel like you are wrapped in beautiful flowers.

CONSTRUCTION NOTES
This is an easy and relaxing knit with a twist ;) You will enjoy a mindless knit while making the flowers and buds.

A rectangular wrap that is easy to wear. It starts with a simple stockinette stitch .
Continuing with the body, yarn overs give this wrap a nice interesting texture.
This is a simple knit, like a blank canvas that will showcase the Flowers and Buds (Fleurs et Boutons )

YARN
You can knit yours with linen like I did or you can use a different yarn. This shawl will look great in Merino, merino/silk, alpaca, etc

MC Sport weight yarn, approx. 1040 meters /1137 yards
CC Fingering weight yarn, approx. 365.7 meters/ 400 yards
CC1 Lace mohair, approx. 419.7 meters /459 yards

If you use a different yarn, try to stay in the same yarn weight, if not, the size of your shawl may vary.

GAUGE In stockinette stitch, 15.5 sts (counting only the row of large sts x 18 rows (counting the large and the small stitches) in 10 x 10 cm / 4” x 4”, after steam block. If you don’t swatch for gauge the size of your final piece may vary.

NEEDLES
Circular or straight needles 4 mm /US 6. (For Cast on)
Circular or straight needles one 3.5 mm /US 4 and one 6.5 mm /US 10.5 (For the body of the shawl)
Double pointed needles 4.00 mm /US 6 (For flowers)
Double pointed needles 2.00 mm /US 0 (For buds)
Use the needles needed to obtain gauge.
