A shawl-necked cardigan with an easy-to-knit lace reminiscent of the flickering flames of a log fire and cozy winter evenings. The cardigan is a flattering A-line shape knit from the bottom up with set-in sleeves. The airy “blown tubular yarn” has the warmth of baby alpaca and merino wool and feels light and soft to wear.

  • The lace pattern (16 row repeat) and mock cable twists are on fully-charted panels and backgrounded in reverse stocking stitch.
  • The back and front are knit as flat panels; the sleeves are knit in the round.
