Suitable for a beginner knitter, there is no purling at all, just knit! The crown is shaped with K2tog and a simple double decrease is used in the inserts only.

Flickety Split stretches to fit heads of four sizes:
Small [Medium, Large, XL] to fit approx. 17½” [19”, 21”, 23”] / 44 cm [53 cm, 58 cm] head circumference. Kids and adults vary quite a bit but these sizes will accommodate most ages from toddler to large adult.

Two skeins of Malabrigo Twist will make two hats (of any size) if you reverse the colours.

Stockinette Gauge: 16 stitches and 20 rows to 4 inches / 10 cm
