FLIGHT OF FANCY COWL is a squishy DK weight cowl that features elongated stitches, Latvian Braids, and stripes to keep you from getting bored! The cowl starts with a provisional cast on, followed by repeating sections of flowers, braids, and stripes. It is finished with a moebius twist and grafted. This pattern is worked in the round.

MEASUREMENTS
Circumference: 26 inches (66 cm); Height: 12 inches (31 cm)

YARN
Any superwash worsted or DK weight yarn.
The low-contrast green sample uses 2 skeins of Bashful Armadillo Fibers DK weight yarn (218 yds/100g) –one each in the colorways Littlefoot (MC) and Jaded (CC).
The high-contrast blue/gold sample uses 2 skeins of Lolodidit DK weight yarn (231 yds/100g) –one each in the colorways Dreams (MC) and Live (CC) from the Quotable Dumbledore collection.

NEEDLES
Main Fabric: US 7/4.5 mm or size to obtain gauge

GAUGE
20 sts and 22 rows per 4”/10 cm in stockinette stitch

NOTIONS
One removable stitch marker to indicate beginning of round, waste yarn to provisionally cast on, a second set of circular needles in same or smaller size, and a tapestry needle
