Flight of the Fabled Romance
This is a pattern unlike any other. Shaped like a giant heart, with a set of wings, flowing down to a ‘V’ at the bottom. It’s unique shape can be worn in many ways. It drapes beautifully past the shoulders and down to your elbows, for a look of elegance, tapering down at the back. Raise your arms and spread your wings!
The inspiration originally came from an eagle ready to fly, and as I designed it, a story unfolded in my mind, which I have included in the pattern.
Depending on your yarn choices, you can create a stunning central heart, simply by changing colour at the right time. Alternatively use a gradient yarn, swapping ends at certain rows for a contrasting effect.
Gauge is not important for this pattern, but a level of concentration is required. Well worth the effort!
