This pattern was originally written for the Best Little Yarn Crawl in Texas 2018.

IT IS AVAILABLE AS AN EXCLUSIVE KIT FROM ‘LUCKY EWE YARN’ IN NEW BRAUNFELS, TEXAS.

A rectangular shawl, knit from bottom-up and length-wise, with flocks of YO’s flying in ever widening formations heading South for the winter! Knit with either 2 or 3 skeins of beautiful Wool Tree Yarn - or other fingering weight yarn - , the pattern is easily memorized, and the markers show you the way to fly through this project. Purled right side rows mark the beginning of each 6 row repeat. A gently folded-over
i-cord edge gives a stretchy, finished edge and a place to hide your various yarn ends. Various colors may be ‘faded’ one into the other adding to the sense of flight. A lovely soft addition to your winter wardrobe!
