Cold hands? Want to wear gloves or mittens but then you can’t use your phone quickly without taking them off?
Me too.

These fingerless mitts have a one piece / knit in finger flap so you can either just wear them as fingerless mitts or cover your fingers for warmth quickly and easily.

Knit in one piece, the mitt can be made with 9in circulars, DPNs or magic loop, and the flap is integrated into the mitten. No sewing, and sits flat on the back of the mitt when you’re not using it.

Most 4 Ply / Fingering yarns will work for this project, and it uses less than one skein.

A DK version of the pattern is available here.
