A jacket ending at waist level tricks the eye by emphasizing the narrowest part of the body, resulting in an ultraflattering look. Create plaid patterning by switching yarn colors as you work.

Hook Size G/6 (4.25 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
Notions Yarn needle; stitch markers.
Gauge 16 sts and 20 rows = 4” in sc with 2 strands held tog.
Note Jacket is worked sideways from cuff to cuff.
