Floataway
More delicate than a cape or a poncho. A wrap that stays where you put it. Airy and light enough to float away from the body. Knitted in the round in a luxurious fiber. That can also be worn as a cowl. Meet Floataway.
The size of this garment is very forgiving and completely dependent on a single important measurement: the circumference of the body and arms at the largest part of the bust. Floataway is worn with 7” of positive ease, though you may prefer more or less ease. Floataway comes in two sizes: S/M with a body and arms measurement of 50” and M/L with a body and arms measurement of 60”.
Be mindful of your yarn choice. The lightness of a mohair-silk blend makes this design work. Choosing a wool or other fiber yarn may significantly affect the drape and row gauge.
Over a tank in warm weather, Floataway moves easily from air conditioning (as a top) to summer heat (as a cowl). Over a dress or long-sleeved top in cooler weather, Floataway provides nearly year-round wear, depending on your climate.
