This very simple lace design uses only yarn-over and ssk stitches (plus purl stitches on the wrong side of each row) and is a great choice for your first lace pattern. The pattern is fully written out --no chart.

You can easily add another repeat to make a larger 10” square cloth if you prefer.

The pattern as written uses approx. 35 grams/1.1 ounces of worsted weight cotton yarn.
