Located on Penn Cove, my yarn shop has an excellent view of the Wharf and all the lovely seagulls that gather there and along the water. This hat definitely reminds me of them!

Recommended Yarn
Willow on the Water - DK Minis
(100% superwash extra fine merino, 20g/49yds each)
(Sample uses 5 minis (4 colors are used for the brim to top of hat fade. 1 Mini skein was used as a contrast color to create the “seagulls” (less than 10g used). )

Gauge size hooks
Sample made using US 7 (4.5mm) and US I (5.5mm) hooks.
(Looser crocheters will want to size down their hook, swatching is recommended)

Fits head 20”- 23” as written

Gauge
Brim (sl st) - 8 st/7 rows = 1 inch
Body (hdc) - 5 st/3 rows = 1 inch
