This pattern is for the crochet Floortje Headband.

This soft and squishy headband is named after my daughter, that loves a warm headband in stead of hats or beanies that crush her ponytail …

It has a knit look on the outside and a nice cross-over in the middle.
The inside will have a ribbed effect, you can also choose to use the ribbed side as outside.

Made from bulky acrylic (Zeeman Julia, 170m/100 gram) it works up in 1.5 hour on a 5 mm hook.

The headband is 10 cm wide and fits a head between 50 and 54 cm.
there is some stretch in the pattern.

I tried it on my 5 and 8 year old, and they could wear at, as well as myself, with a 54 cm head circumference.

The basis is made in rows, including the cross-over. Then sides are sewed together and the headband is finished in the round.

Used stitches are
Chain, SC, HDC, HDC in BLO and HDC in 3d loop

You will need between 30 and 40 grams of bulky yarn
Hook 5 mm
Scissors
darning needle to weave in end
optional stitchmarker

pattern is suitable for beginners, that are used to the abbreviations and know what the 3d loop is
