Flora
The flowing rhythm of the Flora bag takes your thoughts to summer. The bag has a sturdy double bottom and a drawstring casing on the inside. The matching cotton cord drawstrings give the bag a finished look.

Yarn: Catania by Schachenmayr (100% mercerized cotton, 137 yds / 125 m – 50 g).
C1: 2 balls in the colourway Lavendel (00422).
C2: 2 balls in the colourway Zimt (00383).
C3: 2 balls in the colourway Aprikose (00401).
Or approx. 208 yds / 190 m (C1), 164 yds / 150 m (C2) and 164 yds / 150 m (C3) of DK-weight yarn.
Alternative yarn suggestions are for example Catona by Scheepjes, Capri by Katia or Limone by Schoeller & Stahl.
Hook: US B-1 / 2.25 mm and US C-2 / 2.5 mm.
Notions: Cotton cord (approx. 2.6 yds / 2.4 m).
GAUGE
29 sts x 14 rnds to 4” / 10 cm in Tapestry Crochet in Dc sts on US C-2 / 2.5 mm hook, after blocking.
NOTES
The bag has two bottom pieces worked in double crochet, which are joined with a round of slip stitches. The side is worked in tapestry crochet in dc sts, starting from the last round of outer bottom piece. The top edge of the bag is finished with a drawstring casing, which is folded on the inside of the bag and joined to side, working through the back loops of sts of the side.
