The pattern is inspired by a beautiful picture I came across on social media. The picture shows a beautiful garden and a pathway in front of a beautiful cottage. I immediately thought of how I could change it into mittens. Enjoy.

The mittens are worked in the round from bottom to top using 5 double pointed needles, followed by knitting the thumbs with 4 double pointed needles.

For a pair of mittens you need one skein of the main brown colors but for the other colors, a leftover yarn could be an option.

Innblástur þessarar uppskriftar fékk ég frá fallegri ljósmynd sem ég sá á samfélagsmiðlum. Myndin er af sætu litlu húsi og fyrir framan það er fallegur garður í blóma með óreglulegum hellum sem mynda stétt fyrir framan húsið. Ég fór strax að hugsa um hvernig ég gæti breytt myndinni í vettlingamunstur. Njótið.

Í vettlingana eru notaðir sokkaprjónar nr 2.5. Fyrir eitt par þarf eina dokku af hvorum brúna litnum og svo er hægt að notast við afgangs garn fyrir hina litina ef vill.
