Flora Sweater
A relaxed, boxy fit sweater with a boat neck, and slight balloon sleeves. This sweater is worked in the round from the bottom up. It has a leaf sprig stitch around the bottom hem and cuffs, with an embroidered flower (this leaf stitch panel is charted). The body is worked in stocking stitch, with the raglan decreases concealed behind the leaf stitch. The body and sleeve lengths are written using standard UK dressmaking measurements, but can be adjusted to suit individual measurements, and the pattern indicates when to do this.
DIFFICULTY: Intermediate - most of the sweater is worked in stocking stitch, but there is a concealed decrease behind the leaf cables along the raglans.
I’m in the process of making a video on how to do the leaf stitch and raglan decreases - I’ll update this listing as soon as I can share a link. In the meantime, please message me if you’re stuck on this part.
