This is a lovely pattern to work on. The variation on shell stitch and the crochet chains give a lovely lacy effect. The flowers are really fun to make too, but the blanket looks beautiful whether you include them or not. You could also easily increase the chain size to make this blanket for any size bed. Just be sure you increase by the correct amount of chains to ensure the pattern runs true.
