Yarns:
• DK weight yarn or worsted wool yarn – 1 ounce (30 gr) about 100 yards (90m) in main colour - grey, white or beige, 10-15 yards similar weight yarn in pink for ears, small amounts of colourful yarns for floral decorations.
The item can be knitted either as a hat or a bonnet, worket flat on straight needles, then seamed. The ears and flowers are knitted separately and sewn on at the end.
In stockinette stitch (knit one row, purl one row), 8 st by 12 rows is approximately 2” x 2”.
This hat / bonnet is slightly stretchy.
