This stocking pattern is knit flat then seamed up one side (due to the intarsia color pattern) and does not give instructions for knitting in the round.

Once the stocking is knit, and after weaving in all the yarn ends, sew up the toe, side seam, and heel.
I like to sew up on the right side which helps to line up the color motifs.
